Delhi is a nest of raptors, quite literally. The many garbage dumps, butcher shops and Eucalyptus trees of the city are a favorite among black kites, giving the city the highest raptor concentration anywhere in the world.
But why have Siberian birds been coming to this place for 10,000 years? and will they continue to come to Delhi every winter? Or will urban callousness put an end to this ancient wonder of nature?
